Do I have to download or install any software?
Good news — there's nothing to download or install, nothing to worry about at all. 100% of the software, programs, applications and other complicated technical stuff is on our servers (and we have lots of them). This also means that your biography and family tree are viewable anywhere, on any computer connected to the internet; so when you call or visit family and friends you will be able to share your family tree, your scrapbooks and your stories right there on their home computer. |

Can I password protect my account? What about individual journal entries?
Yes and yes. You can password protect your entire biography website so that only people in your family tree and friends network can see it. AND you can further password protect any individual journal entries you want so nobody else can read them. |

Is the family tree account separate from the journal account?
They are one and the same! Each life book has both a journal website and a family tree incorporated into it. And each family tree member has a journal site. So it's just one sign-up and you get both automatically. |

Do I get my own website URL?
Yes! Your personal website URL, which you can place on other personal or business sites, will be http://bio.webbiographies.com/YOU. Can you get a unique URL such as you.com from someone like Network Solutions or GoDaddy? Sorry, that's not possible because those registrars charge annual fees; so one day when you're gone they would cancel the domain name and give it to someone else, thus taking your biography offline... and we don't want that to happen. So we give you a unique domain name at WebBiographies.com in order to protect you for the future. |

Can I get a hardcopy book of my biography?
Of course. Just use the "Request a Book" link in your biography and we'll email you a Microsoft Word or text file of your biography... Free! And as often as you want (this is also a great way to keep a back-up of your journals on your own computer at home or work). |
