The process of making a digital copy of a photograph or document is called scanning, and it is more of a matter of trust, than technology. Anyone can purchase a scanner and some software and open the doors for business, but do you want to hand them your irreplaceable keepsakes?
At Web Biographies, we treat your items with the care and confidentiality they deserve. We will gently make digital copies and return the originals to you. We then use advanced software to correct any minor defects in the copied image (we don't touch the original) and send you a CD with the images in .jpg format so they can easily be added to your online site. And of course, our consultants are happy to help you upload and organize your photos and scrapbook mementos.
In other words, we do it right.
And the best thing about it? You only have to do this once and then you have it forever. And when you put the pictures online, all your family and friends can see them. Plus, whereas photos fade over time, and whereas CDs get lost, the images on your biography web site can be easily found and will never fade.
